Flying Buttress Media, LLC was founded by Jack Beranek and John Guggisberg (1964 - 2017) to produce high quality, effective video content for businesses, organizations and non-profits. We are a full service production company which means we can be involved in every step of the process: from conceptualization and scriptwriting, through actual production, to editing and post-production. We can also collaborate with clients who already have a fully formed vision for their content or who need a production team to record footage for an existing project.
We develop solutions that are unique to each organization and their specific audience. This is because we want to make sure your investment in video will result in content that achieves your goals. We offer free consultations to develop proposals and ensure an early groundwork is in place for a successful project.
Jack Beranek - Since childhood, Jack Beranek has had a passion for film and video production. Throughout high school, Jack independently produced several video projects and also worked at New Ulm Community Access Television. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Jack spent time in Los Angeles where he worked for various companies including Film Independent. Upon returning to Minnesota in 2014, Jack co-founded Flying Buttress Media with John Guggisberg. Jack also wrote and directed the 2021 feature film MAX BISHOP which was picked up for North American distribution by SP Releasing.
OUR COMPANY NAME comes from the architectural term for a structural support as shown in these examples. We see ourselves as gracefully supporting your organization with high quality, high definition video production and marketing services.
